The UC Davis Med Center has a DOD grant to develop a modular, tented, alternate care space on UC Davis Medical Center campus. They are asking for CERT assistance with the setup of the treatment tents to test logistics and operations.
These are similar tents to our "CB-16" system tent (but much larger), and they are similar to other base camp tents we may encounter at wildfire deployments or other disasters. This is a great opportunity for us to get practice on larger versions of our tent and also build relationships with UCD in the event we can assist at future surge events or disasters.
Eligibility:
This is open to all CERT members.
Uniform of the Day:
Those who are not deployable should bring their CERT PPE (helmet, vest, gloves, etc.), and wear closed-toe shoes/boots. Deployable members should arrive in CERT uniform with safety toe boots, gloves, helmet, vest, etc.).
