This is the Sacramento CERT Hazardous Materials First Responder Awareness class sponsored by the Sacramento Fire Department.
This class is required for all members seeking to become FEMA CERT Volunteer Type 1 or 2 with the Sacramento CERT program.
This class will instruct students on how to recognize potential and actual HAZMAT incidents, safely isolate and make proper notifications, and conduct initial identification and assessment.
Having an active HAZWOPER certification does not exempt you from this class.
