The Sacramento CERT Communications 1 class is targeted at CERT members who are not FCC licensed radio operators. This class is designed to teach CERT members about the varios radios in use with Sacramento CERT, and basic radio communications concepts and etiquette.
Members will learn about the Icom, Anytone, and Connect System radios, become familiar with the progamming and operation of each, as well as leanring basic communications etiquitte. Members will also have a chance to practice message handling over handheld radios.
