The "Girls on the Run of Greater Sacramento" (GOTR) will hold their 5k run on May 19th and have asked us for logistical and First Aid support.
Tasks may include First Aid, Communications and additional support. The event will be at Inderkum High School (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Xras47vrbgfErx4t9)
Race Day Schedule (from prior events):
7:00AM -CERT Arrives
7:30AM - Registration and packet pick up opens
8:00AM - Vendor Expo booths begin
8:25AM - Guest Speakers
8:45AM - Warm Up
9:00AM - Race Begins
9:45AM - Award Ceremonies
10:30AM - All participants complete 5K (hopefully)
10:45 AM - Clean up Begins
The CERT station will be in the same location as last time (https://maps.app.goo.gl/tXgzSvGXdkpsFKRd7).
Please be aware of partial road closures during race day. If you're arriving at 7AM, I would recommend entering the Inderkum High School Parking Lot from Natomas Blvd and New Market Drive.
Uniform of the day will be dependent on weather, but red CERT shirt/CERT vest and either pants/boots or shorts/tennis shoes (if it will be warm). Bring sunscreen!
